Please take a moment to review these rules detailed below. By registering and playing KeRnOnline you hereby follow the rules that have been set in place for your and the communities safety.The rules are to be followed in addition to the Terms of Service. Game Masters and KeRn staff reserve the right to modify and enforce the rules as they see fit.
Naming Rules
Character, guild, shop an estate names should not be offensive or inappropirate.
Please choose a Name that is not difficult to read or type.
Monsters
2a. Intentionally manipulating or luring mobs to a certain location in order to get the mobs to attack other players is prohibited.
2b. Attacking or using offensive skills on a mob that does not belong to you or your party members is prohibited.
A mob is considered as belonging to you if you or someone in your party, were the first to gain aggro or be targeted by a mob. If the mob is no longer targeting you or your party members, then the mob is open to be taken by another player or party, assuming that the loss of target was not a result of kill-stealing.
Exceptions apply to situattions where players are encouraged to assist in killing a mob, such as: Kingdom Quests, World Bosses and Events.
2c. Do not kite any World Bosses or any type of major boss with the intent of disturbing or giving someone disadvantages.
Spawn Points
3a. Player Versus Environment
It is not possible to claim exclusive right to an area (spot-claiming) or claim ownership of mobs or resources (mines/herbs/etc) that have not spawned on the map yet.
As long as there is only one party at a spot, they are allowed to take every mob they find. In the case that another party arrives, you have to share the area.
3b. Player Versus Player
It is not allowed to prevent users from leaving the PVP Areas by continually killing them so they cannot reach the portal. Camping at spawn areas to kill players who have just revived is prohibited.
Guild Wars
It is not allowed to teleport during a guild war to prevent your death. Camping in spawn areas to kill players who have just revived is prohibited. Intentionally starting a guild war against a guild who is raiding is not allowed. Do not kill players who are away from keyboard (AFK) or have opened a shop.
Behaviour
5a. Harassment
In-game behaviour that negatively affects other player's ability to enjoy the game the way it is intended is prohibited.
5b. Chat
Using the in-game chat to cause offense or nuisance is prohibited. This includes bad language, threats and unnecessary spamming.
Advertising other Servers or discuss any kind of cheat, hack or glitch is prohibited.
5c. Conducting trade under false pretenses (scamming) is prohibited.
5d. It is prohibited to use "binning". (Whispering people to make thei game crash)
5e. It is prohibited to "leech" in KQs. (Joining a KQ and go afk.)
Bug Abuse
Bugs are errors or faults in the game that produce an incorrect or unexpected result, or causes it to behave in unintended ways. Abusing or intentionally triggering bugs for personal gain is prohibited.
Players are encouraged to report bugs on the forums, to the in-game team, or to support.
Manipulating the game files or using third-party programs to modify gameplay is prohibited.
Multiple Login
Multiple Login is only allowed if one Character are making money.
Its not allowed to play with two or more active characters.
Disregard the rules Leads to serious consequences
Account Security
7a. Asking other players for their account details (usernames and/or passwords) is prohibited. KeRn staff will never ask you for your account password. It is not recommended to allow other players to use or have access to your account.
7b. The creation of more than one account is allowed as long as not more than three accounts can be assigned to one player. When determining bug using or similar infractions with one of these three accounts, all three accounts will be penalized as the one having broken the rules.
Staff Members
8a. Causing interference or nuisance, and preventing Staff Members from carrying out their duties is prohibited. This includes repeatedly sending friend/party/trade requests, and giving false/misleading information to Staff Members. The decisions and actions of the KeRnOnline Team are to be followed. Staff Members will not accept friend/party/trade requests, or give in-game currency or items to players.
8b. Unauthorized assumption of authority
Falsely claiming to be, or have influence over a staff member is prohibited.
Ways of punishment
In general, the following actions will be taken for eacht rule infraction:
- Official warning
- Restricted Area
- Timed Ban
- Permanent Ban
Each infraction will be investigated by a Staff Member and appropriate action will be taken. For privacy reason, we do not discuss the specific actions taken with other players. Multiple infractions will accumulate punishment and are not exclusive.
